Producing Unique New Creators (PUNC) is open to creative, talented individuals who have the potential to change the world with their expression. PUNC is open to anyone, but especially looks for individuals from groups which are historically and currently under-represented in motion picture, theater and other media production.
PUNC can help those who have a deep and demonstrated interest in the motion picture arts and technologies, live theater, streaming media and other visual storytelling. Qualifications For The PUNC Program
- Intended Career Path: (a) Producer, Line Producer or Production Manager; or (b) Director.
- Age: 18 Years of age to 40 years of age.
- Education: High School completed.
- Language: Unfortunately, at this time applicants must be fluent in English.
- Arts Background: Demonstrable and sustained history of interest and activity in motion picture, theatrical or other performing arts productions at any level. Formal film or theater education is not required, but does demonstrate a history of interest and activity.
- Other: Admittance to the PUNC program is based upon our assessment of the likelihood of success the applicant will have in the industry, if they complete the PUNC program. SSI & PUNC do not discriminate based upon gender, ethnicity, race or sexual preference, or religious ideology.
